The plan focuses on contributing to the realization of the national vision of transforming the Ugandan society from a peasant to a modern and prosperous country within 30 years. The theme for this development plan is “Sustainable Industrialization for inclusive growth, employment and sustainable wealth creation”. This is in line with Uganda Vision 2040, EAC Vision 2050, Africa Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The overall goal is “To Increase Average Household Incomes and Improve the Quality of Life of the people of Bushenyi District”.
