B. ältere Versionen von “I’d Have You Anytime” und “Awaiting On You All”, sowie bisher unbekannte Demos von “Behind That Locked Door”, “All Things Must Pass”, “Run of the Mill” und “My Sweet Lord”. All diese Songs erschienen schließlich 1970 auf Harrisons Nummer 1-Album “All Things Must Pass”. Außerdem sind unter den unveröffentlichten Tracks noch Demos von “The Light That Has Lighted the World”, “Let It Be Me”, “Mama You’ve Been on My Mind” von Bob Dylan und eine frühe Aufnahme von “Woman Don’t You Cry For Me”. Das Album erscheint am 27. April 2012 in folgenden Formaten: Digipak Deluxe Edition CD, Heavy Weight 180gr Vinyl-LP und verschiedene Download-Formate, u.A. für iTunes und HD Audio. 1. My Sweet Lord (demo) (3.33) 2. Run Of The Mill (demo) (1.56) 3. I’d Have You Any Time (early take) (3.06) 4. Mama You’ve Been On My Mind (demo) (3.04) 5. Let It Be Me (demo) (2.56) 6. Woman Don’t You Cry For Me (early take) (2.44) 7. Awaiting On You All (early take) (2.40) 8. Behind That Locked Door (demo) (3.29) 9. All Things Must Pass (demo) (4.38) 10. The Light That Has Lighted The World (demo) (2.23) Produced by George Harrison Compilation produced by Giles Martin Engineered by Paul Hicks Mastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road Studios Executive Producer: Olivia Harrison Sleeve Notes von Produzent Giles Martin: 2009 lud mich Olivia ein, um einige Bänder anzuhören, die George in seiner Bibliothek in Friars Park gelagert hatte.

  • Apple Label Discography
Apple Label Discography 100-800 series (Capitol numbering series) Apple Records was formed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in 1968. The Apple label was intended as a vehicle for the Beatles, their individual recordings and the talent they discovered. A great deal of what appeared on Apple was pretty self indulgent and experimental but they did discover a few good singers and groups. James Taylor recorded his first album on the label. Doris Troy recorded a good soul album and there are 2 albums by John Lewis and the Modern Jazz Quartet. The Beatlesque group Badfinger also issued several albums on the label, the best of which was “Straight Up”. Apple Records fell apart in management chaos in 1974 and 1975 and a bitter split between the Beatles over the management of the company. Once the lawyers got involved everybody was suing everybody else over the collapse. The parody of the Beatles rise and the disintegration of Apple is captured hilariously in the satire “All You Need Is Cash: the story of the Rutles”. The Apple label on side 1 is black with a picture of a green apple on it, black printing. The label on side 2 is a picture of ½ an apple. From November 1968 until early 1970 at the bottom of the label was “MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC. A SUBSIDIARY OF CAPITOL INDUSTRIES INC. USA”. From Early 1970 to late 1974, at the bottom of the label is “MFD. BY APPLE RECORDS” From late 1974 through 1975, there was a notation under the “MFD.

We were always told that we could not put the clock back and to do this would be tantamount to a. blasphemous interference with the divine order of sunrise and sunset. Yet clocks have been cheerfully put on and back since 1916 in the United Kingdom with the knowledge that the interests of the community were thus being served. The appearance of this paper is warmly welcomed and it will serve the interests of the Pinjarra. Senior High School Staff and Student body. I would advise our contributors however: observe closely and, before you write, think in words instead of in vague or careless pictures. Only then should you put pen to paper. One should practise constantly, for it must be borne in mind that a clear and effective style cannot happen of its own accord, One learns to think by thinki ng - to write by writing and nobody can be taught to be creative Avoid the long editorials and long short stories - the dachs- hunds of literature.

ABSTRACT The History of the World: Or, Dewayne Boyce, As I Recall Helena Hunt Director: Michael-John DePalma, Ph.D. University of New Hampshire This creative nonfiction thesis is composed of a set of personal essays that reflect on the author’s relationship with her family, primarily her mother and grandfather. It shows, through an often fragmented and lyrical style, the inheritance they give to and receive from one another, beginning with the traditions of storytelling and deception that are embedded in the text itself. The collection triangulates certain themes and preoccupations, leaving and later returning to the same ideas, people, and occurrences to find new insights and reflections. They are meant to echo an individual’s reflection on his or her own life and family past, as one returns to familiar images again and again and recreates what one cannot remember. By the end of this collection, some hope is offered from the repeated cycle of family addiction and manipulation, though that salvation is only found in the same familiar patterns of behavior. The best of the best were released by Apple Records in the form of the 3-volume Anthology series. For more information, see the Beatles Time Capsule at www.rockument.com. \n\n This volume starts with the first new Beatle song, “Free as a Bird” (based on a John Lennon demo, found only on the bootleg The Lost Lennon Tapes Vol. 28, and covers the very earliest historical recordings, outtakes from the first albums, and live recordings from early concerts and BBC Radio sessions. \n\n Highlights include: \n\n Cry for a Shadow - Many a Beatle fanatic started down the bootleg road, like I did, with a first listen to this song. Originally titled “Beatle Bop” and recorded in a single session that yielded four songs (the other three featured Tony Sheridan with the Beatles as a backing band), “Cry for a Shadow” is an instrumental written by Lennon and Harrison, which makes it unique to this day.
