He is the leader in games and victories for the Clan (60) and is third among all coaches in the CFA in tenure. Coach Beaton has served as a guest coach at CFL camps and has also conducted several coaching seminars throughout the lower mainland. He holds a B.A. from SFU and a Master's degree in Education from Western Washington. Terry returns for his 11th season as a Clan assistant and Offensive Coordinator. As a player for the Clan, Terry was Terry Bailey SFU's first ever All American in 1973 rushing for 866 Assistant Coach yards losing the rushing title to NFL Hall of Farner Walter Payton. In 1986, he was inducted into the SFU Sports Hall Offensive Coordinator of Fame as a Charter member and in 1988 he returned to coach for the Clan. He holds a B.A. from SFU and a teaching certificate from UBC.
