RACE 1: BETFAIR EXCHANGE ASCENDANT STAKES (LISTED)

Fancy Man Alenquer River Alwen

FANCY MAN was successful here on debut in July and followed that up with a close second in Listed company at Salisbury a month later. The Pride Of Dubai colt sets a fair form standard on that most recent piece of evidence, and looks best of the Richard Hannon-trained duo ahead of C&D scorer River Alwen. Alenquer looked better the further he travelled when making a winning debut over 7f at Newbury recently and won't mind this step up in distance.

RACE 2: BETFAIR SUPERIOR MILE STAKES (GROUP 3) Top Rank My Oberon Stormy Antarctic

TOP RANK lost his unbeaten record at York last month, though he was far from disgraced in third and travelled like the best horse in the race for much of the contest. James Tate's charge doesn't have many miles on the clock for his age due to injury issues, but could start making up for lost time now. Stormy Antarctic sets a fair form standard after only finding Persian King too good in the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan at Chantilly in July, while My Oberon ran a blinder when second behind Tilsit in a Group 3 at Goodwood earlier in the summer and also makes some appeal.

RACE 3: BEST ODDS ON THE BETFAIR EXCHANGE HANDICAP

Midrarr Favorite Moon Arthurian Fable Favorite Moon has a point to prove after a modest showing in the Melrose at York, but he is probably still fairly handicapped off 87 and won over C&D in July. Arthurian Fable was second on the Knavesmire last month and lost little in defeat behind a smart winner, while Al Dabaran was a little disappointing at Newmarket 58 days ago but was previously third in Group 2 company at Ascot behind Irish Derby hero Santiago. MIDRARR opened her account at the third time of asking at Chester last month, quickly settling matters after some encouragement from her rider. The form of her Newbury third prior to that has worked out well, and this three-year-old is expected to enjoy stepping up in trip on handicap debut under Hollie Doyle for the first time.

RACE 4: BETFAIR EXCHANGE OLD BOROUGH CUP HANDICAP

Future Investment Glencadam Glory Cape Coast Glencadam Glory was only narrowly denied in the Ebor at York last time and he has an obvious chance today based on that form, although he is 5lb higher in the ratings now. With that in mind, preference is for FUTURE INVESTMENT, who remains unexposed over marathon trips and he was an impressive winner over 2m at Chester last month. The son of Mount Nelson was fourth in the Melrose last year and he is proven on a soft surface. Cape Coast and Calling The Wind both won their most recent outings and have the ability to go well, while Rajinsky and Australis are also noted.

RACE 5: BETFAIR SPRINT CUP STAKES (GROUP 1)

Golden Horde Lope Y Fernandez

A very competitive renewal of this contest but the marginal preference is for , who did not appear to relish the extra half a furlong when fifth in the last time. Despite this the son of was not beaten far at all on that occasion and he had previously beaten many of these when filling third place in the . A flat 6f on soft ground should be perfect for him and he should not be underestimated today. Last year's winner Hello Youmzain beat the selection at Deauville and he is an obvious threat this afternoon. was an impressive winner of the Hungerford Stakes over 7f last time but he may find one or two too good in this contest. Others to consider are Lope Y Fernandez and Tabdeed.
