BIOGRAPHY Obatunde Bright ADETOLA Ph.D (formerly Nurudeen Babatunde Alliyu) trained as a Sociologist at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria. He has conducted (with other researchers) empirical social and marketing researches that enjoyed support from both local and international donor agencies such as Family Health International (FHI) ; Pathfinder International (PI) Lagos; Liverpool Associates in Tropical Health (LATH) UK, African Development Foundation (ADF), Washington DC and Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETfund, Nigeria. He was pioneering Consultant with Communication and Marketing Research Group Limited (CMRG) Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Adetola has published in both local and international journals in the areas of gender and development. His research interests include: Sociology of Development and Development Studies especially Gender and Women Studies, Social Theory and Research Methods. He is a Lead Researcher in one of his recently won small grants funded by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund), Nigeria on waste generation, management and wealth creation in , Nigeria.
