I love the challenge and excitement of the grade level. 5th grade is a challenging year academically, but it is also a time of growth. FAVORITE SUBJECT: It is hard to pick just one… Lately, I have been on a history kick! I’ve been reading a lot about the Civil War and the Reconstruction Era. INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I enjoy spending time with Mr. Thoman and my two children, gardening, reading, and watching my favorite sports teams! February 17— Kindergarten We are still focusing on enrollments as we have more movement going on throughout Readiness Information this new year. We welcomed a number of new families during January and said good- Night 6-7 p.m. bye to some of our little friends. March 3—Infant/ Kindergarten interest letters were handed out, due date is February 18th and from this list toddler (&sibling) we can plan accordingly for the fall. We will very soon start working on our classroom portraits projections for the fall and we hope to share results with all families at the Spring Confer- ence. March 4—Preschool portraits We held an Open House for our older Summer School Age kids at the new site located March 13—DCCC at 1250 Ritner Hwy.
