What I like best is the Music Room because we have the keyboards for the laptops. FAVORITE SUBJECT: Writing INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I play the piano, and I like to draw. SOMETHING INTERESTING NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT YOU: I have a really big family. My grandma has eleven brothers and sisters, and she had six children. We have to rent out a fire hall for Christmas! I love working with students and staff! I love the challenge and excitement of the grade level. 5th grade is a challenging year academically, but it is also a time of growth. I love seeing how the students bloom and mature throughout the year. WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT NORTH HILLS? The FANTASTIC students. We have the best kiddos around! FAVORITE SUBJECT: It is hard to pick just one… Lately, I have been on a history kick! I’ve been reading a lot about the Civil War and the Reconstruction Era. INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I enjoy spending time with Mr. Thoman and my two children, gardening, reading, and watching my favorite sports teams! SOMETHING INTERESTING NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT YOU: I once gave CPR to a fish… WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT A SNOW DAY? The best part of a snow day is the unexpected day off! Our days are so busy, and to have a “bonus” day with my family is wonderful. I am able to just spend time with my son and daughter. .
