Entrepreneurship Program The Steward School’s Entrepreneurship Studies program partners with local innovators and business owners to inspire and educate students. Participating Upper School students can earn a diploma endorsement in Entrepreneurship upon graduation. "In this rapidly changing world, it’s impossible to predict what our students’ future careers will be,” said Head of School Dan Frank. “Many students will end up in jobs that haven’t been invented yet. But we do know what skills they’ll need to be successful, and those related to entrepreneurship are on the top of the list: creativity, innovation, perseverance, and collaboration. Our new Entrepreneurship Studies program aligns with our goal at Steward to not only educate students now, but also prepare them for the next – college and life."

College Counseling Students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to attend meetings with college representatives who visit the Steward campus and, as early as freshman year, students begin touring colleges as a class for field trips. The overnight junior college tour is often the most important component of the application process because the students are exposed to a variety of school types—public/private, small/large, urban/rural—in a short amount of time. Students use these examples to consider what type of school really fits them, which helps guide the counselor’s recommendations through the rest of the process. College Counseling begins in grade 9 and students take classes with the college counseling department in grades 11 and 12. College Statistics
