22 The Forbes School of Business & Technology™ hosts an annual “thought leader summit” with participants that include C-Level executives, government and non-profit sector leaders; military flag rank officers; investment community and industry analysts; and academics. The summit takes place in October each year with the inaugural event held on October 2, 2017. The online classroom fits the needs of our on-the-go students. Thanks to Ashford University technology, students can research, study, and participate in class from anywhere you can take a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

The online learning platform is an asynchronous environment, meaning that students can log in at any time at their own convenience. Students will communicate with instructors and fellow students, talk about diverse topics via discussion boards, read assigned texts, access course digital materials and submit assignments all through the online learning platform.

As Executive Dean of the Forbes School of Business Mr. Daugherty also possesses extensive experience & Technology™, Mr. Daugherty oversees all academic, teaching and leading university students and curricular, and co-curricular policies and programs corporate clients. He has served on various panels for the school. His duties include coordinating faculty at conferences and symposiums, speaking on in various academic environments, as well as serving topics ranging from international higher education as a liaison with accrediting agencies. to venture capital investing.
