The Morse Geriatric Center Hermine Gladstone We are very happy and appreciative of the Temple Beth Am volunteers at the Morse Geriatric Center on Christmas Day. They replaced the volunteers who normally would have been working so they could celebrate Christmas with their families. Karen and Bob Feller worked in the kitchen preparing lunch. David Friedman, Stuart Fierman, Hermine Gladstone, Lorraine Katz, Paula Marcus, Lanelle Meidan, Hailey Shuldiner and CK and Jack Tenenbaum worked with the members living there—giving them mobility, bringing them to the nurses and aiding them. We are very proud of our TBA volunteers.

Our volunteers serve hot, healthy dinners to the needy at St. George's Episcopal Church, in Riviera Beach, the 3rd Monday evening of every month. We need some new volunteers to offer an hour and a half of their time, from 5:00pm - 6:30pm helping us serve the dinners to those less fortunate. The meals are prepared in the kitchen at Temple Beth Am on that Monday afternoon. For their Mitzvah project, Daniel and Molly volunteered time to help raise money for Great Dane Rescue of South Florida. Their love of Charlie as well as seeing their mother volunteer time on the weekends prompted them to want to help the countless Great Danes that are surrendered to this Jupiter Farms rescue each year. Molly and Daniel have been at Temple Beth Am their whole lives and are both graduates of the wonderful preschool and religious school. We would like to thank all of their teachers for helping them learn about our culture and prepare them for their B’nei Mitzvah.
