Thank you for purchasing EXCELL Ticket Printing Scale, to help use the product properly, operate smoothly, and extend
its life cycle, please read this manual carefully.
Instructions for Use
1. The scale should not be put in the rain or washed by water. (If it gets wet carelessly, please wipe it dry with a cloth. If its operation is abnormal, please send it to your supplier. ) 2. Do not store it at high temperatures or damp places. 3. Please keep the scale clean and free from insect infestation. 4. Avoid impacting with other items or over loaded with excessively heavy weights (The load must not exceed the maximum capacity of the scale). 5. If the scale is not going to be used for some time, please clean it and store it in a plastic bag in dry condition. The scale should be charged every 3 months. 6. Commodity should be placed at the centre of platter when being weighed, and its size should not exceed the dimension of the platter. 7. When the paper jams, please open the printer up lid to take out the paper. 8. Please operate or charge the scale in an open area. Do not squeeze the power cord to avoid wire on fire. 9. Any suggestion is warmly welcome.
Preparing to Use the Scale
1. Please locate the precision scale on a stable, flat desk and don’t put it on a shaking or unstable desk. Adjust the four leveling feet to make the scale horizontal. Make sure that the bubble level is in the center of the circle 2. Keep the scale away from places with strong drafts or excessive temperature fluctuations (E.g. from direct sunlight or the air louver of an air conditioner). 3. Don’t put any object on the scale while switching on the scale. 4. Remove any weight that might be on the platter before the scale is switched on.
5. When the low battery indicator appears, replace the dry batteries or charge the battery for about 8~12 hours. To charge the battery for the first time, please charge longer than 12 hours.

1-7 System Update 1. System Update EX0907 can be updated through Ethernet. TFTP v3.35 can be downloaded on http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.htm We take tftpd32.exe as an example.
2. Preparation before Update (1). RJ45 internet cable to connect TP and PC (2). the fixed address of PC connected with TP is as following: IP: 192.168.77.100 Net mask: 255.255.255.0 (3). use RS-232 connecting cable to connect TP COM1 and PC. The Parameter of the scale is as following: Baud Rate: 9600 Parity: N Word Length: 8 Stop Bits: 1
3. Steps (1). Please set SW to ADJ position. (2). Press [MODE] key and [SET] key to power on the scale. Nothing is shown on the display. Following information shows on the PC. ------EX0907 IAP over Ethernet Using TFTP ------SW is ADJ. Start IAP.

Chapter 2 Transaction (R) Mode 2-1 Gneneral Operation 2-1-1 Zero Press [ÆOÅ] key to re-zero the scale with no load on the platter. When zero is set, the (→0←) symbol will be displayed. Zero range: ± 2% of Full Scale 2-1-2 Tare n Place the container on the platter, after stable and press [T] key, the weight value returns to zero and net indication (Net) is on. The container weight show in “tare column” o Place goods into the container, and the display show the net weight of goods in “weight column”. p Clear tare value When removing the container and goods, the display shows the negative weight value of the container in “weight column”. Then press [T] key to clear tare value. The weight returns to zero and net indication (Net) is off. Multiple tare operation ⇒ Users can continuously increase or decrease the tare value by pressing the [T] key. The total tare value (tare value + pre-set tare value) can equal the full capacity of the scale. 2-1-3 Pre-tare n Use number keys to enter weight value of the container. After finishing the procedures, Press [MODE] and [T] keys, the display shows the negative weight value of the container in “weight column”. The pre-tare indication (PT) is on. The tare value shows in “tare column o Place goods into the container, and the display show the net weight of goods in “weight column”. p Clear pretare value When removing the container and goods, the display shows the negative weight value of the container in “weight column”. Then press [T] key to clear pre-tare value. The weight returns to zero and pre-tare indication (PT) is off. 2-1-4 PLU Call Up 2 ways to call up designed PLU: 1.by preset key；2. by number key 1. PLU call up by preset key A) PLU call up by preset keys (quantities) In R mode, press preset keys to call up quantities PLU and press [X] key. Use number keys to enter quantities in “weight column”. $/pcs displays in information 1 for quantity PLU B) PLU call up by preset keys (weighed) In R mode, press preset keys to call up weighed PLU. $/kg displays in information 1 for quantity PLU 2. PLU call up by number key Eg: Call up No.105 PLU: Press [1],[0],[5] keys and then press [#] key. It also has quantities PLU and weighed PLU 3. Cancel PLU call up Press [CE] key to clear uint price and cancel PLU call up.

4. Modified PLU price To use this, need to enable setting [300211] in 3-2 PLU first
2-1-5 Free commodities A. free commodities (quantity) In R mode, use number keys to enter unit price. Press [X] key and then enter quantities. B. free commodities (weight) In R mode, use number keys to enter unit price and then put objects on platter. Name of free commodities in information 1 display “other”.
2-1-6 FIX function It is used in single commodity transaction. It can fix unit price of free commodity or PLU 1. Fix PLU Call up PLU and then press [FIX] key, indication (Fix) shows on display. After printing receipt, PLU will be kept for next transaction. 2. Fix unit price of free commodity After enter unit price, press [FIX] key, indication (Fix) shows on display. After printing receipt, unit price will be kept for next transaction. Cancel the fix function: press [FIX] key and indication (Fix) turns off.
2-1-7 Preset key 1. 40 PLU preset keys (setting method: refer to 3-7) 40 PLU preset keys (3 levels) can be set 120 data. 1~40 is the first level, 41~80 is the second level (e.g. to use preset key 41, press preset key 1 for 2 times), 81~120 is thethird level (e.g. to use preset key 120, press preset key 40 for 3 times). 40 PLU preset keys also can be set as function key, vendor key or PLU. 2. Two function keys (F1, F2) (setting method: refer to 3-8)
