English II

May 4-8, 2020

Weekly objective: Explore types of conflict and how they manifest themselves through characters as you watch Friday Night Lights; introduce the final remote learning project--writing a children’s book, which will be presented on Google Slides--which will be due May 15

Reminders: ● Cheating: Now that all of your work is done online, it’s easy to copy and paste information from websites and/or copy from another student. If you get caught doing one of these two things, expect parents to be contacted, names to be sent to deans and principals, and expect to have to re-do the assignment. It’s not worth it. Do your own work. ● ALL assignments MUST be typed in Google Classroom. Please don’t upload pictures of your written assignments. ● If you have an “I” for a grade in Home Access Center for an assignment, that means one of two things: either you did the assignment, but you didn’t fully follow the guidelines OR you did not do the assignment. If you did the assignment, I likely left you a private message in Google Classroom asking you to redo it. If you didn’t do the assignment, please complete it and send me an email once you have completed it. ● When you submit assignments, be sure to hit the blue Turn in button. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SHARE IT WITH ME. Simply Turn it in.
