Please Be Aware That United Utilities Are Currently Carrying out Some Work at the Junction of Liverpool Road and Water Street, W Museum of Science & Industry Liverpool Road Castlefield Manchester M3 4FP By car: MOSI is located on Liverpool Road in Castlefield, minutes from Manchester city centre. It is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city - simply follow the brown tourist signs. The nearest motorways are the M602 and the M60. Car parking: The car park is open from 8.30am until 6pm Monday - Friday and from 9.50am - 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Car parking on-site costs £4.50 for the day. (If you require access earlier/later, please request this when booking your event at MOSI) The car park entrance has permanently moved to Water Street (from Lower Byrom Street). Closing the upper level car park has been done in order to improve visitor safety, allow the historic site to shine, plus it makes a great event space. Please be aware that United Utilities are currently carrying out some work at the junction of Liverpool Road and Water Street, which means that the Water Street car park entrance can only be accessed via Quay Street. This may cause some disruption to your journey on the day. Please allow a little extra travel time to avoid arriving at the Museum late. Disabled parking: There are two on-street Blue Badge spaces outside the Museum's Coffee Shop on Lower Byrom Street. There are also a limited number of spaces for Blue Badge holders on the Museum's car park (see above for charges). These cannot be reserved and are available on a first- come, first-served basis.
