BRONCOS EARN AFC’s NO. 2 SEED, FIRST‐ROUND BYE

The Denver Broncos (12‐4) defeated the Oakland Raiders (3‐13) by a score of 47‐14 in their regular‐season finale to earn the AFC’s No. 2 seed and a first‐round bye in the postseason. With the win, the Broncos finished the year with their third‐ever perfect divisional record and their sixth‐ever unblemished home record. They join the 1998 squad as the only Broncos team to finish perfect at home and in the division in the same year.

DEMARYIUS THOMAS SETS SINGLE‐SEASON RECEIVING MARK

Broncos WR caught eight passes for 115 yards (14.4 avg.) against Oakland to give him 1,619 receiving yards on the year—a new Broncos single‐season record. He finished the year with 111 receptions—two shy of tying WR Rod Smith (113, 2000) for the team single‐season mark. He also posted his 10th 100‐yard receiving game of the year, representing one of just seven players in pro football history to accomplish that feat.

ANDERSON SETS BRONCOS MARK FOR UNDRAFTED RUNNING BACKS

Denver RB C.J. Anderson rushed for 87 yards and three on 13 carries (6.7 avg.) against the Raiders. He joins RB (3 ‐ 1998) as the only players in team history with multiple games in a season totaling at least three rushing scores. Anderson’s 10 total touchdowns (8 rush, 2 rec.) are the most by an undrafted Broncos running back in a single season.

Broncos LB recorded his 14th sack of the season in the first quarter to move into fourth place on the club’s single‐season sack chart. The sack was the 49th of his career, tying him with for the sixth most in NFL history (since 1982) through a player’s first four seasons.
