While our school does No Alixe Callen Acton‐Boxborough very well athletically, it is frustrating to our students that the final teams left in most tournaments tend to be the Catholic schools. 08/26/2011 No No very strongly against #2 Yes Doreen Keller Central Catholic HIgh School 08/26/2011 Yes No No Gail Van Buren Dighton‐Rehoboth Regional High Schoo 08/26/2011 No No Yes Michael Barrett Blue Hills Regional 08/26/2011 No No I represent a small (270) Catholic school in Lawrence. The fact that private schools "draw" from a number of communities and create area all star teams is unfair and not equitable. I would hope that the "No Vote" mandate from the principals regarding the football playoff proposal (65% "No Vote" to 35% "Yes Vote") pushes that issue to the "back burner" for some time. I would like the TMC to examine the issue of equity relative to girls ice hockey. It is a violation of the Title IX statute to have the girls' championship games at the T.D. North Boston Garden at 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. every March. The times need to be rotated with the boys' games. 08/26/2011 No Yes Yes Mike Lovecchio Pembroke HS 08/26/2011 No No No Jane Day Mashpee High School 08/26/2011 No Yes No Tom Gwin Winchester High 08/26/2011 Yes Yes Yes Luis Macedo Hudson High school 08/26/2011 Yes No My AD has suggested that there be an Elite Division for Super 8 type playoffs.
