Catholic Memorial School (W. Roxbury) Ms. Roberta Doering A member of the Belchertown High School girls cross country team, Madison School Committee serves as a team captain. She has finished among the top six runners in the Agawam MIAA Western Massachusetts Championship Meet for each of her first three Mr. Sean Gilreln varsity seasons. Madison currently holds a number of local course records Superintendent including Dudley-Charlton Reg. School District Chicopee State Park, Holyoke’s Ashley Reservoir and Beichertown’s Foley Field. As a team captain, Mr. Barry Haley Madison initiates and runs the team stretching Athletic Director program each day, as well as team-building and goal-setting meetings on a Concord-Carlisle High School regular basis with her teammates. Mr. Roland Joyal Principal Academically, Madison holds a 99.07 GPA and takes a rigorous senior Chicopee High School academic course load that includes AP Calculus, Honors Latin 4, Honors Greek, Mr. David King Physics, AP English Literature and AP US Government. Last year, she received Athletic Director seven academic awards at the Belchertown High School undergraduate awards Athol High School night, including the Smith College Book Award and the Renssalear Medal Mr. Karl Lord Award. In addition to her academic and athletic success, Madison is a member School Committee of the Youth Advisory Board that gives presentations about internet Tn-County Reg. Voc.Tech.(Franklin) safety to first and second graders in the district. She is also a member of the Beichertown Mr. Charles Lyons High School Student Council Superintendent-Director and Model Congress. Shawsheen Valley Tech. HS (Billerica) Beichertown High School Mr. Kevin Malnes Athletic Director Robert Marchewka says, “Madison Principal stays near the end of the race to encourage and motivate the rest of her team to Douglas High School finish with their best effort, which includes over twenty-five girls of varying Mr. Timothy Payne abilities, as well as her opponents. For these reasons, Madison is also the Principal consummate teammate and opponent, in addition to being the top runner in Mt. Greylock Reg. HS (Williamstown) nearly every race.” Mr. Michael Rubin Principal The “Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA)/New England East Boston High School Sports Network (NESN) Student-Athlete of the Month Award” is presented on a Mr. Stephen Sangster monthly basis to one male and one female student-athlete who display Principal excellence in the areas of academics, Rockland High School athletics and community service. Students in grades 9-12 who attend MIAA member schools are Ms. Marilyn Slattery eligible to receive the Assistant Principal award. Monthly award winners will receive a certificate of recognition and be Maiden High School featured on MIAA.net, NESN.com and NESN.
