. . . JULY TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION OVERVIEW . . . July saw a return of very welcome monsoon rainfall across northern Arizona. The highest precipitation amounts fell mainly along the Mogollon Rim southward into and Gila Counties, where the graphic below indicates near to above average monthly rainfall. Some storms were quite strong, producing areas of very heavy rain, flash flooding, strong wind, and hail. Overall, temperatures were generally near to above average through the month.
