TOWN OVERVIEW Starksboro, Vermont is a town of 45 square miles and around 1,800 residents located in the northeastern corner of Addison County. It adjoins the towns of Bristol, Lincoln and Monkton in Addison County, as well as Hinesburg and Huntington in Chittenden County. Starksboro is located in the western foothills of the Green Mountains and is characterized by its terrain, which ranges from 372 to 2,500 feet above sea level. Hogback Mountain, a north-south ridge that defines the town’s western border, slopes sharply into the Lewis Creek Valley.
