MUSEUM OF ARMY FLYING The Museum of Army Flying is based just outside Salisbury in the Hampshire countryside and tells the 100 year story of the British Army in the air. The Museum is open daily and houses over 35 fixed wing and rotary aircraft including the only complete collection of British Second World War gliders. A great day out for all the family, the Apache Café has excellent views across an active army airfield where visitors may see Apaches, Lynx and Gazelles taking off for training. The Café is also open daily and overlooks the aircraft themed play park. There is plenty of parking available and visitors are welcome to use the Café without purchasing museum admission.

The British Army Flying Memorial was opened in September 2017 and lists the names of 5,127 soldiers who have died in the service of British Army flying. The Memorial is open to the public during museum opening hours throughout the year.
