We had a great crowd at this week’s meeting with everyone anxious to hear and see the great Paul Warfield. Let me say, Service Above he did not disappoint. Self Chris Shape, aka Fellowship Bob, entertained members and guests alike by asking the age old question “Why did the chicken cross the road?” and 4-Way providing the answers given by notable politicians. You can imagine how Test ridiculous some of the answers were. We all had a good laugh and were in fine spirits as the meeting got underway. Warren Homecoming Concert – The concert we will be sponsoring on Saturday, September 24th, as part of the Warren Homecoming weekend will be the Ohio Players. On August 17, 2013, The Ohio Players were inducted into Service the inaugural class of the Official R&B Music Hall of Fame that took place at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. We are delighted to Community sponsor this group and encourage all Rotarians to make plans to purchase Service tickets when they go on sale. The concert will be held at Packard Music International Hall. Service RI International Convention – As you may know, next year our club will be th Youth Service celebrating its 100 anniversary. Julia Wetstein would love to have a booth at the Convention in the House of Friendship to let our closest 35,000+ friends know what we have accomplished in our first 100 years. The Convention will be held from June 10 to 14, 2017. Expect to hear more about the upcoming convention in Atlanta, GA as the year goes by. Rotary Code of Quaker Steak and Lube Bike Night – The next Bike Night will be on Conduct August 19. If you can help out, please let Chris Shape know.
