    Communication No. 2359 National Results 2019/20 In accordance with Rule 104, paragraph 13 a), b) and c) the ISU publishes the following results for the season 2019/20: a) The five best times set up on standard tracks by Speed Skaters of the Member over distances of 500, 1000, 1500, 3000, 5000 and 10 000 meters for Men and 500, 1000, 1500, 3000 and 5000 meters for Ladies and Team Pursuit for Men and Ladies; b) The five best Short Track Speed Skaters of the Member over the distances 500, 1000, 1500, 3000 meters and Relay based on the results from International Competitions or National Championships; c) The names of the five best Ladies and Men Figure Skaters, the five best pairs and the five best couples in Ice Dance and the five best Synchronized Skating Teams based on the results of National Championships. Kaetlyn Osmond (CAN) edges Alina Zagitova (RUS) for lead in Ladies Short Program World silver medalist Kaetlyn Osmond of Canada edged Russia’s World Junior Champion Alina Zagitova for the lead in a high-level Ladies Short Program at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Nagoya on Friday. 2015 World silver medalist Satoko Miyahara of Japan came third in the first segment of the Ladies competition. Skoptcova/Aleshin (RUS) dance off with gold in Junior Ice Dance Russia’s Anastasia Skoptcova/Kirill Aleshin danced off with the gold medal. Christina Carreira/Anthony Ponomarenko (USA) claimed the silver medal and Sofia Polishchuk/Alexander Vakhnov, also from Russia, earned the bronze in what was their debut in the Junior Final. Skoptcova/Aleshin put out a strong Tango program, collecting a level four for their lifts, twizzles and the sin while the serpentine step sequence was rated a level three. The Muscovites achieved a season’s best with 87.74 points for a total of 153.61 points. “For now, we are satisfied with our performance and now we would like to start our preparation for our next competition,” Aleshin commented.

Nell'individuale maschile, podio per l'Azzurro Samuel Contesti, che con 204,72 punti (sesto nello Short e primo nel Libero) ha raggiunto il terzo posto finale. Il secondo Azzurro, Paul Parkinson, ha chiuso nono la sua gara con 156,37 punti (quinto e tredicesimo). Successo per il giapponese Daisuke Murakami con 213,37. Nell'individuale femminile in gara per l'Italia Roberta Rodeghiero e Alice Garlisi, che hanno chiuso rispettivamente in ottava e 15esima posizione con 103,82 (14esima e sesta) e 92,73 (12esima e 16esima) punti. Vittoria per la francese Mae Berenice Meite con 136,58. Podio per gli Azzurri anche fra le Coppie, con Stefania Berton e Ondrej Hotarek secondi al termine della gara con 163,83 punti ed un terzo ed un secondo posto nello Short e nel Libero. Gara vinta dalla coppia russa Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov con 190,15. Secondo posto e podio per l'Italia anche nella Danza, con la coppia Lorenza Alessandrini/Simone Vaturi (124,76 punti, frutto di due secondi piazzamenti nello Short e nel Libero) battuti solamente dalla coppia tedesca Nelli Zhiganshina/Alexander Gazsi (142,10).
