Restricted Vehicles

The policy is subject to cover and use restrictions for certain vehicles and vehicle types. The Policy Schedule contains full details of the cover provided, including specific vehicles listed in the Sports, High Performance and Prestige Vehicle Appendix as shown below.

Other vehicle types with cover and use restrictions include:

• vehicles modified to improve performance, • vehicles imported other than through the • motorcycles & trikes over 750cc, manufacturer’s normal import arrangements, • trailers, • USA & Canadian vehicles, • vehicles over 30 years old, • vehicles manufactured outside of the United Kingdom, • ‘Q’ plated vehicles, • quads, • kit vehicles, • mini motos and • vehicles over 3.5 tons GVW, • vehicles designed or adapted to carry more than 9 persons, including the driver. • left hand drive vehicles,

The policy specifically excludes directors personally owned vehicles unless cover agreed by us. The policy also specifically excludes employees’ vehicles and directors’ spouses personally owned vehicles.

SPORTS, HIGH PERFORMANCE AND PRESTIGE VEHICLE APPENDIX These vehicles are restricted to Motor Trade business use and all drivers under 28 years of age are excluded.

Updating the Motor Insurance Database

We will update the Motor Insurance Database on your behalf. You can notify us of any changes required in the following ways: • The easiest way for you to manage your vehicles and the quickest way to get your vehicles on and off the MID is by logging into My Account, alternatively, • you can scan and email a copy of the vehicle list to us, with amendments noted, • call us, or • post a copy of the vehicle list to us, with amendments noted.

Any update requests sent to us by post or email will only be effective once we have received them and you have received your updated vehicle list as confirmation.
