Greek language and culture courses in Athens

Study Greek in Athens and join us in a unique educational and cultural adventure offered by the Alexandria Institute.

Alexandria Institute offers accelerated group courses in Greek language and culture. The courses, held in Athens and lasting for one, two, three or four weeks, are intended for students at levels A1 through C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Classes directed to absolute beginners start on the first and third Monday of each month, while classes regarding the other levels start every Monday.

Focusing specifically on the students’ special needs, preferences and interests, our courses can be arranged in a way that meets those requirements. In addition to teaching the language, we offer cultural activities. The courses are part of a wide range of training and cultural activities aimed at presenting you with a complete educational and cultural experience in Athens.

Whether you have limited free time (one or two weeks) or you can make more, Alexandria Institute can come up with the schedule that is suitable to your needs and capabilities.

Our courses include:

2. A cultural walk or a guided tour to a museum

3. A Greek movie screening or a lecture on a subject related to Greek culture

Course Info

Classes are taught Monday through Friday, starting at 10:15 am. On national holidays, make-up hours will be added to the weekdays. Alexandria Institute reserves the right to modify the schedule as well as arrange some afternoon/evening courses in case tutors or rooms are unavailable.

Courses: 2 to 4 hours a day depending on the number of participants

Prices

1 week – 20 hours (1 teaching hour is 50’) – 290 euro.

2 weeks – 40 hours (1 teaching hour is 50’) – 490 euro.

3 weeks – 60 hours (1 teaching hour is 50’) – 690 euro.

4 weeks – 80 hours (1 teaching hour is (50’) – 890 euro.
