    Brochure on invitation of proposals by Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for documentation of Heritage Buildings in Chennai Metropolitan Area The Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area approved under the provision of the Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act 1971provides for Special Rules for Conservation of Heritage Buildings in Chennai Metropolitan Area in annexure XXV of Development Regulations. Justice.E.Padhmanaban Committee Report identified 467 Heritage Buildings / Precincts/ Structures. The documentations of the Heritage Buildings is being carried out by Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority in Phases, duly following the procedures for notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. In the present phase, it is proposed to take up the documentation for 192 Heritage Buildings. An advertisement calling for proposal for documentation of Heritage Buildings form the interested architect is published dailies the New Indian Express and Dinamalar on 10.06.2018.
