Abstract: ThisstudyaimedtocontributetotheknowledgeofTurkishfaunabydeterminingtheMalacostraca (Crustacea)faunaofYuvarlakStream.Monthlysamplingwasperformedat10stationsalongthestreambetweenMay2001and April2002. Eleventaxaweredetermined;ofthese,5( Gammarusbalcanicus,Gammaruslongipedis,Echinogammarusantalyae,Corophium orientale and Orchestiaplatensis )belongtoAmphipoda,3( Palaemonetesantennarius,Atyaephyradesmarestiiorientalis and potamios )to,2( Lekanesphaerahookeri and Cyathuracarinata )toand1( Diamysismesohalobia mesohalobia)toMysidacea.

Theonlymaturespecimen, P.potamios,wasa seventhstations,butitishardtodeterminethespecific maleandwassampledatthesecondstation.Infact,we levelfromimmatureandfemalespecimens.Therefore sampledmanyyoungcrabspecimensatthefourthand theywererejected.
