The First Semi-Annual Report of the FFRH 2016 2

Introduction:

The Foundation situation through the report period Under the motto (Eyes on Rights) The FFHR continued to implement the strategic plan which the constituent body had approved at the end of 2013 with the fundamental amendments approved by the expanded meeting of the body of constituent and executive.

As the Foundation continued achieving success as its programs work plan, although facing big challenges due to the vast immigration wave that occurred in the second half 2015.

The Foundation also suffered substantial pressure from international and local bodies and organizations as a result of the political alignments that emerge from conflict and the Syrian conflict, Where some reckless parties inside and outside deliberated to imposing a suffocating siege on the institution and denial it from all international funding opportunities.

In addition, move on the civic action level internationally, and has exercised political and civic organizations, various forms of the agglomeration under the name of civil society organizations (the product of the Syrian revolution) without a clear definition of the meaning of the Syrian revolution.

Which Fraternity Foundation for Human Rights in its point of view defending the rights of Syrian whatever their nationalities and sects and affiliations against each party violates these rights.

The foundation always seeks to explain the concept of revolution as public intellectual revolution not exclusive to one party and the issue of dropping the Syrian regime lies in the intellectual overthrow the system and not the structure alone or replace the despot with another or range with other range. The organization continued its independence policy towards dealing with the conflict parties. And the Fraternity group of friends, organizations and individuals remained supporting the organization with all the physical and moral guidelines abilities. In spite of all what its exposure from prejudice and exclusion because the main task is to contribute to the building of the Syrian citizen in accordance with the

International legitimation of Human Rights and the defense of the citizen as a human being without any considerations of color and shape national affiliation or ethnic or sectarian. The largest percentage of its beneficiaries from women and children citizens in particular, they have been displaced from the cities of military conflict to the Foundation's areas of operation and did not flinch the organization to providing support and assistance to these issues, like the citizens of the region and did not differentiate between them any day.

The Foundation focused its work during this reporting period, on monitoring and documenting human rights violations due to the urgent need among local activists to develop their methods and strengthen their knowledge in this important area. And got a small chance of support from colleagues in the Euro-Mediterranean Network for rights to achieve this training

(Eyes on Rights).Which considered as a qualitative project, it has been implemented inside Syria because of the difficulty for the people of the region to get training opportunities outside Syria, like other activists in the Syrian neighbors.

Foundation lacked for the media opportunities due to the deliberate marginalization by the local media, the continuous obscuring on what the institution do and remained dependent on its cadres and its media for the promotion and delivery of ideas and activities of the local and international public opinion. The Foundation hopes to overcome these non-responsible conglomerates in the case of the Syrian Civil mobility and keep the door open for all Syrian organizations to be out of the present state lacking the capabilities of professional work and assigned the role of civil society organizations in the positive impact.

And changing in dealing policies with the home and the citizen's and not to Exclusivity policy with capabilities of Syria's and resources according to the way the Syrian regime and its

organizations and the Foundation will provide all their efforts and expertise to the development the service for the citizen and the home.
