Porthleven, St Michaels Mount, Mousehole & Trengwainton Gardens This tour takes in some of Cornwalls best bits you might otherwise miss but are just as beautiful. Our first stop is Porthleven: a beautiful harbour village with quirky shops and inns: ideal for a morning tea or coffee. We then continue to head west, stopping briefly in Marzion for views of the iconic St Michaels Mount before following the seafront road through Penzance and Newlyn to Mousehole: a true working Cornish fishing village famed for it’s Christmas lights, but equally charming all year round. Once you’ve had time to explore, we continue on to Trengwainton Gardens where you can explore the walled gardens and luscious grounds, as well as a superb lunch in the restaurant. Eden Project Dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World by some, the Eden Project is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches. Experience the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in the Rainforest Biome - the world's largest greenhouse - and discover the tropical plants that are used to produce everyday products. You have all the facilities you will need to hand, with on-site eateries and shops, which is just as well because you’ll easily spend all day here. We then head back to Falmouth, ensuring you’re back in time for your dinner or departure. Padstow and Tintagel This tour takes you to the dramatic coast of North Cornwall. Our first stop is Padstow: one of Cornwall’s idyllic harbour towns. Fascinating shops surround the town centre harbour will excite the retail explorer in you – and why not try a proper Cornish Pasty on the harbourside? Or, if you’d rather eat inside, you’re sure to find a restaurant or café which caters to your tastes. We then head for Tintagel – a town steeped in mystery and legend. Visit King Arthurs Castle and admire the dramatic cliffs around you and be sure to visit the old Post Office building – now preserved by the National Trust. St Mawes & Truro This tour takes you to the beautiful Roseland peninsula and the fishing village of St Mawes; home to St Mawes castle, sister to Falmouth’s Pendennis Castle.
