This tour is for the water babies, the swimmers and the dippers and is the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, immersing guests in some of the most iconic swims and walking in stunning Cornwall. The tour is fuelled by cake, wonderful Cornish food and good company! We know there is nothing more reviving and refreshing than swimming and dipping in the hidden swimming spots, coves and beaches of the Cornish Coast and with two or more swims planned each day, we’ll take you on a journey through Cornwall like no other – joining together the most stunning sea and estuary swims and some of the most incredible walks along the , into a magical week-long journey that you’ll remember for a lifetime. Itinerary

Day 1. Arriving into Lostwithiel Railway Station for 1pm, we’ll meet you at the station and set off on a to Fowey and our first swim at Ready Money Cove, a sandy and sheltered cove with stunning views across the estuary. We’ll then walk the South West Coastal Path to the stunning and hidden Polridmouth before getting to know your group over a group dinner in the evening - the perfect start to your swimming adventure.

ACTIVITY:

Intro Swim / Second Swim

Day 2. Taking the ferry across from Fowey to Polruan we begin our morning walk along the stunning South Cornwall coast to dip and dive into Lantic Bay, Lanivet Bay and/or Lansallos Bay, depending on how long we linger and how much walking we want to do! We’ll set up a picnic on the beach for you to enjoy as you take a well-earned break mid-day. In the afternoon we loop back towards Bodinnick Ferry and head back to Fowey where there is the option for some SUP or kayaking. Staying near Fowey again means more time on your feet and in the water.

Sea Swim x 2 or 3

Day 3. We have an early morning swim at Polkerris before transferring to Goran Haven for a dip then a beautiful coastal walk towards the pretty harbour town of Mevagissey. Along the way we stop off for a sea swim at Colona beach, a little known spot – inaccessible by car and the perfect for a spot of swimming away from the crowds. Lunching at a brilliant lobster-focused restaurant – The Kings Arms – in Mevagissey, enjoy the fresh catch and the bustle of this little fishing village. A transfer to our hotel in the afternoon allows for some free time mid-tour to explore the local area.

Day 4. An early morning dip in the Penzance Lido - a sea temperature salt water art deco haven and a new “hot” 35 degrees) geothermal pool for you to enjoy. If you can drag yourself out of the pool we head to the Lizard which has some of the most spectacular cliff-top views of the week, and a swim by the sheltered harbour at Mullion Cove. We transfer to the famous and pretty village of Coverack for a picturesque lunch and relaxed afternoon swim along the beach and the devil’s frying pan sea cave! With an optional swim at Cadgwith if time, we head to our hotel in the evening after an action-packed day.

Day 5. Transferring and taking the train into St Ives – known as one of Britain’s most beautiful train journeys! – we take the morning to explore the town, swim in the sheltered harbour or the Atlantic facing Porthmeor Beach. Look out for seals, regularly spotted perusing this coast line and happily floating alongside swimmers with their natural curiosity. Lunching in Carbis Bay, and swimming crystal clear water, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you are in the Caribbean! In the afternoon there is an optional transfer towards Marazion to swim in the bay, with stunning views over the causeway to St Michael’s Mount. We dine as a group for our last night’s dinner.

Day 6. After a relaxed breakfast we transport guests back to Lostwithiel, or on the train from Penzance, and say our goodbyes, helping with all ongoing travel arrangements.

This tour is active. We require guests to be competent swimmers and proficient walkers. All guests must be able to swim 400m unsupported before joining this tour. We are not racers but you can swim as much or as little as you like! evenings. Every activity remains flexible and dependent on weather conditions, tides and seasonal variations, with daily alternative options in rivers / lakes and lidos.
