The Persian occupied Oman as part of the Arabian Peninsula. They dominated some major centers both on the coast and interior region. There were some military clashes between the Persians and the tribe of Azd on the coast of Oman. The Arabs of the Oman coast could get their complete freedom over a Persian control. Their northern center in Twam and their main port was Dibba. Malik bin Fahm Al-Azdi kept on striking and attacking the Persian fort and castle and other Persian settlements till they were expelled from the region. Consequently, other Azdi Arabs migrated to the region after it was totally liberated from the Persians.
