Students are… Students are the most important people entering our facilities. Students are not an interruption of work; they are the purpose of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them. They are entitled to our service. Students are not cold statistics; they are human beings with feelings and emotions like Bettendorf High School our own. Students are people who bring us their RECOGNITION PROGRAM wants and it is our job to handle them as expeditiously as possible. Take care of the students, that’s why we are here. Best experience at BHS Meeting teachers and new friends. Bettendorf High School is the reason I am getting my diploma. What have you learned about yourself during your time at BHS? I have become a better student since I have been at BHS. I care a lot more about my school and my grades. SARAH HACKBARTH Years at BHS 5 Family My husband, Ryan, and my two daughters, Claire and Kate Hobbies Singing, cheering for the Cyclones and Bears, and traveling Fav memory at BHS That's tricky, I have a lot of great memories! I would say one of my favorite memories was seeing my first group of advisory kiddos that I had for four years graduate last year. It was such a special moment for me, and them! Special moment this year I would say being chosen by Curtis to receive this recognition as a teacher who has had a positive impact on him was a very special moment for me. I pour my heart into building relationships with my students, and Curtis has made me so proud the two years I've known him.
