Kick Starting a Career: Steven Schott (Massillon, Ohio/Washington H.S.), a junior placekicker for the Cardinals who had only two attempts in his first two seasons, kicked the first game winning kick in the final minute of a game in his career when he nailed a 44-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining in Ball State’s 33-31 win at Eastern Michigan in 2011 . . .
