This series marks the second trip to Rancho Cucamonga for the Nuts and closes the back half of Rancho's six-game home stand. 2018 2ND HALF STANDINGS VS MODESTO: This is the sixth of ten total meetings between the Quakes and Nuts and the sixth of seven games to be played at NORTH W L PCT GB LoanMart Field. The Quakes last squared off with the Nuts at home (4/30-5/3) and dropped three of four games to the north division Stockton* 17 14 .548 - opponents. RHP Dean Kremer recorded the only winning decision against Modesto following his start in game two of the set. Mills pitched the ninth and recorded his tenth save on the year. CAL LEAGUE SCOREBOARD D-LUX: Gavin Lux saw a season-long 19-game hitting streak come to a close on Friday after going 0-for-4 at the plate with a walk. Yesterday Lux had nine multi-hit games during the stretch that tied Stockton's Jonah Heim for the longest streak in the California League this Modesto 3 at Rancho Cucamonga 1 year. RHP Lake Elsinore at Lancaster, 6:35 PM Nolan Long returns to Rancho Cucamonga from Double-A Tulsa. On Saturday LHP Antonio Hernandez was transferred to rook- Rancho Cucamonga at San Jose, 7:00 PM ie-league Ogden of the Pioneer League. Taking his spot on the roster is RHP Yeison Cespedes, promoted to Rancho Cucamonga from Stockton at Modesto, 7:05 PM Ogden. On Thursday, RHP Parker Curry was transferred to Double-A Tulsa of the Texas League. Taking his spot on the roster was Visalia at Inland Empire, 7:05 PM 18-year-old LHP Antonio Hernandez. MAY DAY: Dustin May steps to the mound today in his 16th start of the year and second against the Modesto Nuts. May made his 2018 season debut against Modesto on May 3rd and worked 3.2 innings, allowing four runs on six hits and was saddled with a loss. 2018 QUAKES AT A GLANCE The right-hander salvaged a win his last time out despite allowing five runs over five innings to San Jose. The 2-4 right-handers enters today following a loss to Lake Elsinore his last time out where he allowed four runs over 5.1 innings. A La Plata, vs MOD Road 0-0 MD native, Newsome was drafted by the Mariners in the 26th round of the 2015 draft out of Chopticon High School. Dodgers INF Justin Turner joined the Quakes along with INF Logan Forsythe in a weekend series vs. Visalia (5/12-5/13).
