The semester is coming to an end, which means it's time for students to formally give their feedback to professors. If you're currendy a student at Georgia Southern, you've probably already experienced filling out professor evaluation forms. The evaluations are broken down into four sections These sections consisting of student/ course rating, instruction/instructor rating, student background and open-ended questions that are hand written by students. These evaluations are based on 23 standard questions presented on a PinkScan version scantron. According to the Office of the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, these student evaluation sheets go through a number of various venues to be scored and rated before they can be officially processed and filed. In order to achieve unbiased and accurate faculty evaluation scores, they must first be entered into a Katherine Kennedy/STAFF Scanmark machine.
