Tonight’s Tilt…The LumberKings and Timber Rattlers open up a crucial three game set at Ashford University Field, with Clinton just 2.5 games out of the Wild Card lead, and Wisconsin 3.0 games back of Peoria. Clinton had opportunities in all 2014 three games vs. the Kane County Cougars, as the LumberKings held a multi-run lead in all three matchups. But the division leading Cougars just about locked up the Western division with three come from behind victories. The loser of the REGULAR SEASON RECORD BREAKDOWN Clinton/Wisconsin series will be all but eliminated from the first half playoff race. AS OF 6/7/14 Extra, Extra, Read all about it!...The May 19th issue of Sports Illustrated hit store shelves two weeks ago, and the LumberKings’ historic 20-17 win from May 7th in Burlington earned a four-page spread.
