• Almost half of the decline in part-time students from Fall 2019 to Fall 2020 was in first-time-in- college part-time students.

• While fall-to-fall retention of Fall 2019 part-time FTIC students was down four points, the retention of full-time FTIC students was down only one point.

• Furthermore, the retention of female students, which make up about 60% of Palm Beach State's students, was down only one point.

• The size of the full-time FTIC cohort, which is used for measuring the College's completion rate, actually increased by about 5% in Fall 2020.

• Fall 2020-to-Summer 2021 reenrollment of part-time students, which make up about 70% of the College's students, is up about half a point.

• Fall-to-summer retention of part-time FTIC students is up more than one point, which may indicate that the college is starting to turn the corner on part-time retention losses. Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees Meeting
