:1-2, 10-11 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea… “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

• Isaiah 41:10 – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

:4 – He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

:7 – For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.

• Deuteronomy 31:6 – ...the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you

• Exodus 14:14 – The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. • Romans 8:31 – What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

• Proverbs 18:10 – The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

• Job 5:17-19 – “Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves; therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty. For He wounds, but He binds up; He shatters, but His hands heal. He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven no evil shall touch you.
