The Club’s Board have been busy reviewing many areas of the Club and the facilities offered to members and their guests. The House Committee has already implemented some changes which have seen the Coffee Room renamed the Dining Room and introduction of a new, simpler and more competitively priced menu and restyled layout that is more welcoming and ambient.

The Club’s wine and drinks offering has also been revamped with the expert help of Malcolm Fuller and Tim Hartley, Master of the Cellar, who have systematically reviewed the wine list and come up with an exciting new line-up that is both comprehensive and satisfyingly good value.

Also, the Board has decided to implement a trial change to the Dress Code which has been revised to state ‘We have no dress code at the Club other than asking members to dress in a manner which they feel is appropriate to the occasion, and with consideration for other guests’ – this trial will be reviewed after six months.

Other areas of the Club to have received attention are the Smoking Room which has been refreshed with the introduction of new plants and improved layout, the Pall Mall Room now welcomes breakfast guests most mornings and the experience in the upstairs Ribbon bar has been enhanced with better lighting and smartened up terrace areas.

Also coming up, the Board will be revising bedroom and garage prices as advised by the Chairman, which will indicate further the Board’s desire to enrich the Members’ experience at the Club and make it more enjoyable and comfortable place to come and spend time with friends, family and colleagues.
