SUBJECT: UNPERMITTED SHORT TERM RENTAL HOMES IN MAUI COUNTY
Pursuant to the recently adopted Short-Term Rental (STR) Ordinance (No. 3941, Maui County Code §19.65.080 MEnforcement) the Department is required to transmit to you the following lists:
1. Unpermitted operations with Internet advertisements for short-term rental homes; and 2. Unpermitted short-term rental home operations identified by a department request for service form.
Please be advised that we are basing this list on internet advertising and have not verified the property owners or specific locations. We expect that there is a significant number of properties Which are not listed herein. We are continuing our work to complete our online research of existing STR homes.
