Short Description

Rare Miniature Sentry Cigar / Cigarette box made from English Oak with glass front and original water colour of a Royal Horse Guard known as 'The Blues'.

The oak sentry box contains three drawers each with flush fitting brass finger pulls and cedar linings.

The sentry box has a sprung lock which locks when the door is pushed shut, it can only be opened by using the key.

In 1918 the regiment served as the 3rd Battalion, Guards Machine Gun Regiment and was also part of the Composite Regiment during the Second World War.

In 1969, The Royal Horse Guard was merged with the Royal to form the which is the second most senior regiment in the British Army.
