JASON DANIELEY

Critically acclaimed and award-winning Broadway actor, and concert performer, , most recently starred on Broadway as the ill-mannered Philip Stuckey in : THE MUSICAL. Prior to that, other Broadway credits include Billy Flynn in , as Schoolmaster Kuhn and Aaron Fox in (Outer Critics Circle nomination) all three musicals written by Kander & Ebb. Jason played husband Dan Goodman opposite his real-life wife, , in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning musical, . He made his Broadway debut as the titular character in the Harold helmed (Theatre World Award and Drama Desk Nomination) and originated the role of Malcolm in the Broadway and West End casts of .

He’s had leading roles in A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN and STRIKE THE BAND as part of City Center's Encores series. His Off-Broadway performances include THE TROJAN WOMEN: A LOVE STORY, DREAM TRUE by Ricky Ian Gordon and by . Some of his Regional Theatre appearances include George in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (Joseph Jefferson nomination), SOME LOVERS by , THE HIGHEST YELLOW by Michael John LaChiusa ( Award, Best Actor in a Musical), BEAUTY by , CASINO PARADISE by William Bolcolm, (Garland Award – Best Actor in a Musical) and at Los Angeles' Reprise concert series.

As a concert soloist, Jason has appeared with many of the country's leading orchestras including the New York, Boston and Philly Pops, L.A. Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, , San Francisco, San Diego, St. Louis, Grant Park, Ravinia Festival, Utah, and Buffalo Symphonies, Orchestra of St. Luke's and the BBC Concert Orchestra singing all over the globe.

He also appeared in numerous critically acclaimed performances with fellow Broadway star and late wife, Marin Mazzie, in their theatrical concerts OPPOSITE YOU, HE SAID/SHE SAID and BROADWAY & BEYOND in some of the country’s leading venues including Feinstein’s/54Below, Café Carlyle, Feinstein’s at the Lowes Regency, Joe’s Pub and the Cinegrill to name only a very few.

Jason can be heard on all of the original cast albums FLOYD COLLINS, DREAM TRUE, CANDIDE, THE FULL MONTY, CURTAINS, THE VISIT, PRETTY WOMAN, concert cast albums , and his solo album JASON DANIELEY & THE FRONTIER HEROES as well as the two albums with Marin OPPOSITE YOU (NPR album of the year) and the forthcoming posthumous album MARIN & JASON: BROADWAY & BEYOND.

Jason continues Marin’s and his advocacy for ovarian cancer research through Tina’s Wish https://tinaswish.org to fund research for an early detection test for ovarian cancer, of which there is none, and for those who are living with cancer through Cancer Support Community https://www.cancersupportcommunity.org as they help people, around the world, who are impacted by cancer by providing free services to cancer patients and their loved ones.
