WHO MAY APPLY : All Interested Candidates (Philippine Residents Only) Security Clearance Required : Local Security Certification e.g., NBI, Police Clearance and Barangay Clearance This will be required when an applicant is selected for the vacancy MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Position required to perform a variety of facilities maintenance work and technical expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, air-conditioning and masonry works. Performs carpentry work in repairing, constructing, remodeling, maintaining and alteration of buildings and structures. Performs monthly inspection of building structures for leaks and damages during typhoon season. Knowledge in installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and diagnose plumbing problems. Experience in the field of building electrical works, lightings, wiring, panel board, trouble-shooting, repair and installation. Along with the qualified contractor, installs, repairs and tests Cemetery electrical supply and distribution system which includes both high and low voltage electrical lines and connections. Oversees the servicing and maintenance of emergency diesel generator sets ATS and synchronizing switch. Performs all maintenance on automatic power transfer switch to the generators. Performs electrical trouble shooting on the turf, lawn and agricultural equipment in conjunction with the mechanic. Assists in the maintenance and care of the irrigation system. Assist in the maintenance and repairs of the automatic irrigation system which provides water to approximately 100 acres of fine lawns and landscaped areas. Repairs leaking, broken irrigation pipe lines and valves. Electrical and gas welding experience required. Must be able to do basic masonry works. Assist the mason in performing masonry and concrete work, either repair or new construction. Qualified in the use of specialized measuring and testing instruments such as voltmeters, meters, watt meters and mergers. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Completion of Secondary School or a Vocational Diploma. Must complete a minimum of 2 Course Certificates in any trades on electrical, carpentry, plumbing or refrigeration\air-conditioning. • Prior Work Experience: Three years’ experience in facilities management. • Language Proficiency: Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Tagalog. • Work Environment: Primarily works outdoors with varying weather conditions, in hot weather, high winds and storms. Incumbent may be exposed to the elements consequently and must wear protective clothing at all times. • All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
