Klik eventueel op Ja als Windows vraagt of het programma wijzigingen mag aanbrengen aan uw computer. Als de installatie is voltooid, verschijnt het laatste venster. Laat het vinkje staan bij Mailstore Home starten en klik op Beëindigen . Het is raadzaam het programma van uw pc te verwijderen. Doe dit niet direct maar wacht een paar dagen. Totdat u er zeker van bent dat al uw mails en contacten zijn overgeheveld. Klik met de rechtermuisknop op Starten. Klik op Programma's en onderdelen. Zoek in de lijst naar Windows Essentials 2012 en klik erop. Klik op Verwijderen/wijzigen. Klik op Alle Windows Essentials-programma's verwijderen. Plaats een vinkje voor alle programma's en klik op Verwijderen. Windows Essentials, waar Windows Live Mail een onderdeel van is, is nu verwijderd van de pc. Het is daarom af te raden het programma nog te gebruiken. In dit artikel bespreken we de overstap naar Outlook.com Wat is Outlook.com? Outlook.com is de webmaildienst van Microsoft. Het is te gebruiken met de oudere e- mailadressen van Microsoft (zoals @hotmail.com, @hotmail.nl, @live.com, @live.nl, @msn.com en @msn.nl). Maar u kunt er ook een nieuw e-mailaccount aanmaken. Dat eindigt dan op @outlook.com Kiest u voor Outlook.com dan hoeft u geen programma te installeren op de pc. E-mailen doet u voortaan via uw favoriete browser. Microsoft-account Om Outlook.com te kunnen gebruiken, hebt u een Microsoft-account nodig. Gebruikt u Windows 10 dan is de kans groot dat u al een account hebt. Als u nog geen account hebt van Microsoft, lees dan het artikel: Een Microsoft account aanmaken. Oud of nieuw? Microsoft vernieuwt Outlook.com. Dat betekent dat er momenteel twee versies bestaan die in werking van elkaar verschillen. Controleer op de volgende manier met welke versie van Outlook.com u hebt te maken: . Ga naar Outlook.com en log in met de gegevens van uw mailaccount. Ziet u bovenin een blauwe balk, met daarin de tekst 'Outlook.com' dan hebt u te maken met de oude omgeving. Ziet u bovenin een zwarte balk met daarin de tekst 'Outlook Mail' dan hebt u te maken met de nieuwe omgeving. Hoe Outlook.com werkt Op SeniorWeb vindt u twee artikelen die u de basis van Outlook.com uitleggen. Voor zowel de oude als de nieuwe omgeving. Let erop met welke omgeving u te maken hebt (zie hierboven). Windows Essentials stopt Uit: Seniorweb . Outlook.com, de nieuwe omgeving . Outlook.com: beginnen met e-mail . Outlook.com: verder met e-mail Bestaande e-mails overzetten naar Outlook.com Met behulp van het programma Mailstore zijn e-mails uit Windows Live Mail eenvoudig te archiveren en raadplegen. Ook is het mogelijk, voor wie dat echt wil, om deze e-mails vervolgens te importeren in Outlook.com . Klik in het Mailstore programma op E-mails exporteren. Klik onder 'E-mailservers' op IMAP-postvak. Klik in het venster dat verschijnt op Volgende. Bij 'Host' vult u in: outlook.com . Selecteer bij 'Toegang via' de optie IMAP-TLS. Vul bij gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord de gegevens van uw Microsoft-account in. Klik op Volgende. Klik op Beëindigen. Klik op OK. Dubbelklik onder 'Profielen' op de gegeven naam om het overzetten te starten. Rechtsonder op het scherm ziet u een voortgangsvenster. Afhankelijk het aantal berichten dat u hebt kan het overzetten enige tijd duren. Is het proces afgerond klik dan in het voortgangsvenster op Sluiten. U vindt alle mails terug in een aparte map met de naam 'MailStore Export'. Contacten overzetten Voor het overzetten van uw contacten naar Outlook.com maakt u eerst een speciaal bestand aan waarin al uw contacten staan. Zo'n csv-bestand slaat u in Windows Live Mail op zoals beschreven bij Gmail Opmerking: soms lukt het importeren op deze manier niet. Dat heeft te maken met het csv- bestand. Doe in dat geval het volgende voordat u start met de import: . Open de Windows Verkenner. Ga naar het csv-bestand. Klik erop met de rechtermuisknop. Selecteer Openen met. Klik daarna op Kladblok. Kladblok wordt nu geopend. Klik in het menu op Bewerken. Klik op Vervangen. Windows Essentials stopt Uit: Seniorweb . Typ naast 'Zoeken naar' de puntkomma: ; . Typ naast 'Vervangen door' een komma: , . Klik op Alles vervangen. Sluit het venster 'Vervangen' door te klikken op het kruisje. Klik in het menu op Bestand. Klik op Opslaan. Sluit Kladblok door te klikken op het kruisje. Start nu weer baar Outlook.com via uw browser en volg alle stappen om het adresboek te importeren. Het csv-bestand met het adresboek is op de computer opgeslagen. Nu is het zaak de contacten over te zetten naar Outlook.com: . Ga naar Outlook.com en log in met uw gegevens. Klik linksboven op het vierkant met de kleine vierkantjes. Klik op Personen. Klik in het menu onder de blauwe/zwarte balk op Beheren. Klik daarna op Contactpersonen importeren. Klik rechts onderaan op Windows Live Mail. Klik op Bladeren. Ga naar het csv-bestand dat u het opgeslagen, klik erop en klik dan op Openen. Klik bovenaan de pagina op Uploaden. Alle contacten worden nu geïmporteerd in Outlook.com. Providermail instellen Gebruikt u een e-mailadres dat u van uw provider hebt gekregen (bij bijvoorbeeld Ziggo of KPN), dan kunt u dit adres koppelen aan Outlook.com en voortaan alle mail op één plek ontvangen. Ga naar Outlook.com en log in met uw gegevens. Klik op het tandwieltje rechtsboven. Klik daarna op Verbonden accounts. Klik onder 'Verbonden account toevoegen' op Andere e-mailaccounts. Vul het e-mailadres en wachtwoord dat u van uw provider hebt gekregen of dat u bij de provider hebt aangemaakt. Klik op OK. Uw account is nu toegevoegd aan Outlook.com Windows Essentials stopt Uit: Seniorweb Opmerking: in sommige gevallen lukt het niet om de providermail op deze manier toe te voegen. U ziet dan de pagina 'Uw verbindingstype kiezen'. In dat geval moet u de instellingen zelf invullen. Deze instellingen hebt u gekregen van uw provider. Het gaat om 'IMAP- verbindingsinstellingen'. De gegevens die u nodig hebt zijn: . Inkomende (IMAP-server) . Inkomende serverpoort . Uitgaande (IMAP-server) . Uitgaande serverpoort . Verificatie . Versleuteling Deze gegevens kunt u vinden als u bij uw eigen provider inlogt. Vernieuwde Outlook.com: beginnen met e- mail Outlook.com is de webmaildienst van Microsoft. Windows Essentials stopt Uit: Seniorweb De eerste keer dat u zich aanmeldt, krijgt u mogelijk informatie over de nieuwe functies van Outlook.com. Dat venster kunt u wegklikken. Stap 2: Postvak IN Nadat u bent ingelogd, opent een overzicht van uw mailmappen en uw Postvak IN. U bent nu in uw postvak. Vanuit hier kunt u uw e-mails bekijken en beheren. Links staat een menu met onder meer de mappen, zoals 'Ongewenste e-mail', 'Concepten' en 'Verwijderde items'. Als u met de muisaanwijzer over 'Mappen' gaat, verschijnt er een plusteken rechts van het woord. Hiermee kunt u nieuwe mappen aanmaken. Stap 3: e-mails ontvangen Rechts van Postvak IN staat in het linkerrijtje een getal. Dit is het aantal ongelezen e-mails in uw postvak. Dat zijn normaal gesproken vooral nieuwe e-mails, maar ook oudere e-mails die u nog niet hebt bekeken. Om ontvangen e-mails te lezen moet u, indien nodig, klikken op Postvak IN. Hier ziet u in het middengedeelte al uw e-mails. Op de berichtregel staat de afzender, het onderwerp en de datum waarop de e-mail is verstuurd. Klik op de regel met deze informatie om de e-mail te openen.

Boot computer off installation media (DVD or USB with Windows 10 EDU) 2. The installer process will begin. Clean the drive you want to install -- delete all items/partitions. Windows 10 will rebuild the “WinRE” (recovery environment) partition. a. For images, you do not want a partition larger than the lowest common denominator drive size that may host the image (ie 128GB). b. If you are installing on a machine with a drive larger, create a partition of 128GB and leave the remaining portion “unallocated”. 3. Allow the installation to run. Using a VLM Windows 10 installer, we should not be prompted for a product key during the install. 4. Once installation is completed, you will then go into the “first run” (out of box) Windows setup screens. 5. Do NOT start the process of clicking through items. You need to immediately change Windows into Sysprep “Audit” mode. 1 6. Windows reboots, and enters Audit Mode using the built-in “Administrator” account. When the desktop loads, you will notice the Sysprep box open in the middle of your screen. Close it for now by pressing the Cancel button. ​ ​ a. NOTE on AUDIT MODE: Throughout image construction process, remain in AUDIT Mode. When reboots are required, system will boot back up and auto-login to Administrator account.
