MEN’S TENNIS RELEASE • Oct. 17, 2005 2005 Fall Schedule ITA MIDWEST REGIONAL The Badgers travel to Ann Arbor, Mich.., for the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Thursday through Sept. 23-25 Notre Dame Invitational, Saturday at the University of Michigan’s Varsity South Bend, Ind. Tennis Center. Sept. 30- ITA All-American Oct. 2 Tulsa, Okla. Sophomore Jeremy Sonkin competed at the All- Oct. 7-9 WISCONSIN American Championships last week in Tulsa, Okla. INVITA TIONAL Sonkin went 1-2 in the Singles Qualfiying Draw, MADISON, WIS. falling in the round of 32 to Ohio State’s Chris Oct. 20-23 ITA Midwest Regional Klingemann 6-4, 6-4. Sonkin defeated Flroida State’s Ann Arbor, Mich. Chris Westerhof (6-4, 6-2) and Mississippi State’s Nov. 11-14 Big Ten Singles Mouillon Pierre (6-4, 6-3) in the first two rounds. Championships Wisconsin hosted five teams at the Wisconsin Invitational Oct.7-9 at Nielsen Tennis Stadium: 2005 Quick Facts Drake, Iowa, Marquette, Minnesota and Northern Sophomore Jeremy Sonkin advanced to Illinois. Ritchie 6-1, 6-2. 2005-06 Roster The No. 1 team of Kasarov/Sonkin beat Minnesota’s Mikey Kantar and Sion Wilkens (8-6) and Iowa’s Brett Taylor and J.P.
