Adetoun Oreoluwa Ogedengbe is a Director in the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development. She has spent over two decades with cognate experience working in diverse sectors of Social services in the ministry. She is passionate about promoting overall wellbeing of women and children in risky communities in Nigeria and Lagos state specifically. She is a strong advocate against Gender based violence and her passion for service delivery is particularly note-worthy. She has served in various capacities which include but not limited to her participation in the drafting of UNICEF Complaint policy for children in formal care facilities in Lagos State and the drafting of Social Work Regulatory bill in Lagos State, Nigeria. She enjoys engaging decision-makers and thought leaders in international public policy. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Ekiti State University and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. Adetoun Oreoluwa Ogedengbe has held different positions in the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, she is also serving as a Family Court Assessor with the Lagos State Judiciary and she is a resource person in the area of Family and Child social welfare administration. After serving in different committees in the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW), in 2017, she was elected as the Chairperson Lagos State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW) for a tenure period of 4years, within this period, she has significantly transformed the narrative of the professional body to an enviable place within and beyond Lagos State. She has also volunteered with the different organizations locally and internationally. Adetoun Oreoluwa Ogedengbe is married with children. .
