He led the 2014-15 Monarch squad to a 27-8 overall record, a 13-5 mark in conference play and a berth in the NIT semifi nals at Madison Square Garden. In the NIT J25 victory against Charleston Southern, Freeman recorded the fi rst triple-double by an ODU player since F1 1982 with 14 points, 11 rebs and 10 assists. He was also named to C-USA’s All-Academic Team in 2014-15. F8 F15 The award is named in honor of Hall of Fame coach Lute Olson, who won 780 games in 34 seasons, F22 24 of which were spent at the University of Arizona. During that stretch, he led the Wildcats to 11 Pac- F29 10 Conference titles, 23 consecutive NCAA Tournaments, four Final Four appearances and a National M7 Championship in 1997.
