How to check your device is running iOS7:

On the home screen – tap on settings – scroll down to General – tap on Software Update – check that under version it says: 7.0.x (x can be 1, 2, 3 or 4) – newest version is iOS 7.0.4.

1.Tap Settings > General.

Tap Restrictions.

Tap Enable Restrictions

enter a passcode. The passcode will be required to make changes to these settings or to disable Restrictions.

Note: If you lose or forget a restriction passcode, you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it.

Chose location services settings

Notes: Location services needs to be ON in order to use find My iPhone feature (first time use explained on next slide).

Watch out here for apps that may use the devices location (social media, photo and video sharing, messaging etc.)

If you have not previously set up iCloud on the device:

Go to Settings=>iCloud

and make sure you’re signed in to turn on Find My iPhone. If your phone is stolen later, you can track its location by logging into iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

© immunizeNet.com Set up Photo Stream Set up Photostream on the device and iCloud on your Laptop/PC/Mac if you want to have visibility of Photos and videos taken (and shared with others) on the device. If a parent has their own Apple device using the same Apple ID, Photos will automatically be streamed to the parent’s device

 Restrict changes to Accounts if you don’t want the user to turn photo stream off

1. Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked.

2. Click Add New. This pulls up your Contacts list. Select a name and that person is blocked.

1. Go the offending group message.

2. Click “Contacts” in the upper right. This should reveal a list of people involved in the message. Find the name(s) you want to block and click the small letter “i” for their info.

3. Scroll down the bottom of this info screen and click on “Block this Caller”.
