Inauguration of STREE Counselling Centre At Golconda PS, on 01Jul 2021 The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) in association with Hyderabad City Police has inaugurated the STREE counselling centre in Golconda PS area as part of its Women’s forum initiative. The Council has around 200 STREE Volunteers in the Asif Nagar division. The key areas of intervention are educating them on the provisions of law available to protect them, providing support to women in distress, conducting training sessions. A pilot project was initiated in Golconda PS area and later expanded to other PS limits in the division. The council has conducted 25 training sessions involving subject matter experts to deliver lectures on the provisions of legal system for the welfare of women. Sri. Anjani Kumar IPS Commissioner of Police, Chairman HCSC, Hyderabad and Sri.Kousar Mohiuddin MLA Karwan inaugurated the centre and expressed happiness over the initiative in empowering women. The Commissioner applauded the work of volunteers and urged to keep up the good work. The following officials from all walks of life graced the occasion: - 1. Shri. Najamuddin, Associate Admin, HCSC PRESS NOTE HELD (04) ACCUSED FOR ILLEGALLY PROCURING AND SELLING OF NOXIOUS TOBACCO, ALL WORTH OF RS. 15 LAKHS The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with local police conducted simultaneous raids at different placesin South Zone limits i.e. Chandrayanagutta, Sulthanbazar and Amberpetpolice stations and apprehended (04) accused who were indulged in illegal procuring and selling of prohibited Tobacco Materials. They hired one person by name Ibrahim Bin Sayeed. He brought prohibited Tobacco products from Bidarand supplied to Omer and Abubakar and the same is selling to needy customers in the limits of Chandrayanagutta illegally. The accused Ashok is native of Rajasthan and migrated to Uppal, Hyderbadand running Kirana store situated at Uppal. Frequently he brought prohibited Tobacco products from Bidar and selling to needy customers illegally. The accused Shankar Naik is residing in the limits of Amberpet andfrequently he brought prohibited Tobacco products from Bidar and selling to needy customers illegally in the limits of Amberpet. To gain easy money, the accused persons came into contact with the agents of Bidar andillegally procuring noxious Tobaccomaterial and clandestinely transporting and selling to the needy customers in and around Hyderabad and gain easy profits. Consuming or chewing of noxious Gutka, Tobacco products which are endanger to the human life and to be spread the infection of deceases dangerous to human life. The above said apprehended accused persons along with seized material handed over to SHO, Chandrayanagutta, SHO Sultan Bazar and SHO Amberpetfor taking necessary action and for further enquiry. ILLEGALLY PROCURING, TRANSPORTING & SELLING OF NOXIOUS TOBACCO ORGANIZING GANG NABBED -03 HELD On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team, Hyderabad conducted raid at two kirana & General stores in the limits of Chilkalguda PS and apprehended (03) accused persons by name 1) Allenki Santosh Kumar, 2) Chintha Veeresh Kumar & 3) Kamatham Gopinath who are indulged in illegally procuring , supplying and selling banned Noxious Tobacco, Gutka material to known and needy customers to gain easy money illegally. ➢ DETAILS OF APPREHENDED ACCUSED PERSONS : 1. Allenki Santosh Kumar S/o. A.Ramulu, age. 35 yrs, Occ. Kirana General Store (Manikeswara Matha Kirana & General store R/o. Chilkalguda, Secunderabad, ( Main organizer & Illegally procuring, Supplying Gutka & Tobacco to merchants) 2. Chintha Veeresh Kumar S/o. late Ch.Mallesham, age. 42 yrs, occ. Kirana shop ( Sri Vanamali Kirana & General store)R/o.Chilkalguda, Secunderabad, (Illegally procuring, selling Gutka, Tobacco) 3. Kamatham Gopinath S/o. K.Raja Rao, age. 26 yrs, Occ. Business R/o. Padmarao Nagar, Sec’bad, ( Associate & transporting Gutka & Tobacco to customers) ➢ Seized Gutka & Tobacco material Worth Rs. 66,000/- 1. Miraje Tobacco - 2625 pouches 2. SR1 tobacco -210 pouches 3. V1 tobacco - 30 pouches 4. RR Gutka - 70 pouches 5. Sagar Gutka -70 pouches 6. Vimal Gutka -70 pouches ➢ FACTS THE CASE :- Accused persons Allenki Santosh Kumar & Chintha Veeresh Kumar are running Kirana & General store in the limits of Chilkalguda PS from few years for their livelihood. To earn easy profits illegally, indulging in illegally procuring noxious Guta, Tobacco from Rayal Chalia Stores, Bidar, Karnataka State and storage at their Kirana shops from there supplying to known, needy customers clandestinely on high price. For organizing and increase their business the accused Allenki Santosh Kumar engaged on associate Kamatham Gopinath for storage and deliver the material to required merchants at various places in Hyderabad on commission basis. ➢ ARREST:- The accused Allenki Santosh Kumar received gutka & Tobacco from Bidar, Karnataka state in which some quantity supplied to Chintha Veeresh Kumar and remaining Gutka, Tobacco kept his associate house in order to deliver to merchants, meanwhile on tip of information raided Kirana & General Stores and apprehended the accused persons and seized above Gutka & Tobacco of various brands from their possession. Seized material market value about Rs.66,000/-. The apprehended accused persons 1) Allenki Santosh Kumar, 2) Chintha Veeresh Kumar & 3) Kamatham Gopinath along with seized material handed over to SHO, Chilkalguda PS for taking necessary action. The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri.P.Radhakishan Rao, Dy.Commissioner of Police(OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad by K.Nageswar Rao, Inspector of Police, Task Force, North Zone Task Force, SIs B.
