VLASINA SPRING WATER
Vlasina Lake lies on a plateau surrounded by the mountains of Vardenik, Čemernik and Gramada or the Crkvena mountain (Plana, as the locals call it) in southeast Serbia. It is composed of crystalline schists belonging to the first group and the Rhodope system. Below Vrtop (1,721m), the highest peak, is the source of the Vlasina, at 1,500m, far away from roads, large settlements and industry. At the foot, in the village of Preslap at an altitude of 1,100m, there is a bottling water facility which has a 3,000m long pipeline from the source to the facility. Vlasina spring water, bottled without any processing, is of the same quality as the source, while the quality and content of the soil provides the finest water filtration which ranks it among the cleanest waters. An exceptional softness, a neutral pH value and a very low content of nitrate, sodium and other minerals classify it into a group of very low mineralized waters with only 30 40 mg/l of dry residue at 180°C.
The water temperature at the source is 6°C throughout the year. WHAT WE ARE PROUD OF... Vlasina spring water, due to its composition and very low mineral content, is suitable for expecting mothers and babies, as it has a positive e!ect on the quality of breast milk.

The Vlasina bottling facility is located in the village of Preslap, at an altitude of 1,100m. Below Vrtop, the highest peak of Gramada, is the source of Vlasina spring water. The pure mountain water source is located at 1,500m above sea level. A variety of sources, streams and small rivers tumble down from all sides of the mountain. Vlasina Lake is a reservoir and it is located at 1,211m above sea level. It is 35m deep and its surface is 16km 2. The lake has two permanent or fixed islands and several movable, floating islands that were formed by a separation of peat from the coast. Winters on Vlasina Lake are long and cold with abundant snowfalls. The first snow falls in October, and winters can last until May. But when it awakens, the nature of Vlasina leaves no one indifferent. Vlasina is rich with a variety of plants that have medicinal properties, and over 300 medicinal plants have been registered. Vlasina Water was founded in 2009. The bottling facility covering an area of 1,000m2 is located in southeast Serbia in the village of Preslap, the municipality of Crna Trava. It employs 10 workers in two modern production lines: 0.33l 5L PET bottle lines and a line for washing and filling 18.9L polycarbonate bottles. The current capacity is 3,000 bottles/h of 0.33L 1.5L and about 500 bottles/h 5L PET bottle packaging lines. The line capacity for filling 18.9L polycarbonate bottles is 120 bottles/h. Our vision and mission from our founding has been to offer the healthy food and water nature bestowed on Vlasina plateau, and to inform about the benefits we offer in order to make the right choices. In the future we will try to create more trustworthy products that bring quality to people’s lives.
