  • Index to Keneficks in the Carrigaline
To view the Kenefick Index click here: Carrigaline Tracton parish record index. This index is extremely large at 2016 kb and may take a long time to download. Please read the explanations of the information in the index below. CODES IN THE COLUMN HEADED ‘SO’ FOR THE FIVE CATHOLIC PARISHES (BAPTISMS & MARRIAGES)IN THE DATABASE (It is very important to realize that the records of each of the five parishes begin at a different time. For example, you will not find a Tracton marriage that occurred before 1841, and there are no Clontead-Ballyfeard-Belgooly records before 1836. A family that moved from Tracton to a neighboring parish, say, in 1810, may therefore seem to disappear.) The database also includes occasional records from other sources. New paleontological data are used to define more precisely stratigraphic ranges of some stratigraphic subdivisions, to consider correlation between standard and local zones established for different groups of fossils, and to suggest how the Upper Cretaceous regional scale of the East European platform can be improved.

Belgooly WWDL APPLICATION –SECTION F ATTACHEMENTS (PART 1 AND 2) PART 1: Habitats Directive Assessment (Screening Report) in respect of Application by Cork County Council to the EPA for Wastewater Discharge License for Belgooly Agglomeration. 1 Introduction 1.1 Belgooly, a town of approximately 500 people is located on the R600 national secondary route which connects the City of Cork to Kinsale. It is situated just over 6.0 kilometres to the northeast of Kinsale on the River Stick, which on flowing through the village becomes the Belgooly River which is tidal. Kinsale is one of the busiest ‘hub towns’ in South County Cork. Increased development in Kinsale has had a direct impact on the development of outlying villages. The location of Belgooly has attracted much of this development in the form of housing which has seen the village grow over five fold in the past five to six years. 1.2 The wastewater generated in Belgooly currently discharges to the Belgooly River. The sewage generated by the new housing developments is receiving some secondary treatment from private ‘package treatment units’ . Older village areas (pre 2000) do not receive any treatment. There a r e t w Foro inspectionsepara purposeste col lonly.ection networks in the town; one which serves the majority of the towConsentn an ofd copyrightdischa ownerrges required at th fore anyco othernflu use.ence of two streams and the second collector serves four old stone houses and a bicycle shop and is believed to discharge to the river upstream of the bridge at the junction of the R600 and the R611.

  • Cycle Holidays, Ireland
Lambs, Calves, and Puppies On the Open Road Cycling in Ireland by Irene Middleman Thomas Ah, to be sure, it took me a trip to Ireland to learn that I was born a “masher.” John Heagney solemnly shook his head as he told me this and said that he too was a masher. John, the owner of Cycle Holidays Ireland, should know. Operating scores of cycle trips over the past eight years throughout the gloriously beautiful western coast of Ireland, John is an avid cyclist himself and knows a masher when he sees one. “A masher uses the high gears, but pedals slowly,” he explains. Good for the heart, but not for the knees. And so, on my Irish cycling tour, I learned how to spin and use the full range of gears. My knees, after five days of thirty-plus miles cycling per day, were grateful! Travel writers learn early on that ‘charming’ is a no-no John notes. word — overused, trite, etc. Yet that is the first and most As a nervous novice, I had decided to go on an organ - apt word that comes to mind when describing western ized tour with an experienced operator. I really had no idea Ireland. Tiny villages seemingly out of a children’s book, how many miles I would be able to ride every day, and I felt with clay-tile-roofed, yellow, red, green, and blue houses, secure knowing that Cycle Holidays Ireland would accom - narrow twisting lanes, and lace in every window. Pubs filled modate my needs. Our group contained all levels of ability with grandmas and grandpas in peaked hats, teens in and experience, however.
