The Press Guide, which you are holding in your hands contains basic information for journalists relating to the Birell Prague Grand Prix. Other important facts about the race and elite athletes are presented in the Event Guide. Press Centre is place where members of the media can pick up their accrediation passes. The latest information about the race will be available there as well as internet access.
On the race day the Press Centre is based at the Hilton Prague Old Town. It provides all accreditated media comfortable indoor location, wireless internet access, live results and live broadcasting of the race. After-race Press Conference takes place at the Hilton Prague Old Town as well.

In start/finish area there will be a place reserved for accreditated media for photo shooting. The reserved place for media at finish will be available from 7:45 p.m. to 8:20. p.m.

RUN FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Running and charity are connected together, even if it is not clear at first glance. For a good cause is going to run 275 runners.
• Main charity partner of the Birell Prague Grand Prix is non governmental organization Light for the world, with a special focus on eye health and prevention of blindness. More inforatmation at www.svetloprosvet.cz • RunCzech cooperates approximately with 25 non-profit organizations that buy start numbers for discount- ed price and then sell them for their own price. • In 2014 ran 3,867 runners for a good cause who contributed to the non-profit sector by85,470 EUR. • Virgin London Marathon is considered to be the biggest fundraising sport event in the world. Since 1981 it has been taken out already more than 6 milion pound thanks to running. We keep our fingers crossed for all runners for a good cause and we thank them for their support and commitment.

START TO RUN WITH MATTONI FREERUN!
The Mattoni FreeRun is a network of running trails all over the Czech Republic. Individually, they are 5km long and they are verified by thousands of runners. A MattoniFreeRun coach was assigned to each of these trails. This coach will be organizing running groups and preparing trainings. The coaches will connect to other runners through Facebook groups and the RunCzech mobile app, which allows users to communicate and compare results easily. Members of the running team, built by the coach, will also gain points, which award the passion for running with rewards such as discounts on running gear, etc. The goal of this project is clear - to make Czechs run!

The Czech television and its sports channel ČT Sport will broadcast live the Birell Prague Grand Prix Prague on Saturday 5 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The studio of the Czech television will be situated at start of the race on the Republic square, from where the broadcasters will comment the race and interview interesting guests.
