    19.9.2016 PRESSE-AUSSENDUNG 10 Hypomeeting Götzis / Vorarlberg 2016 TOP-RESULTAT IN DEN IAAF- RANKINGS 2016 Das Ranking der zur IAAF Combined Events Challenge zählenden Veranstaltungen wird 2016 mit 121.519 Punkten von den Olympischen Spielen in Rio de Janeiro angeführt. Auf dem 2. Rang folgt bereits das Hypomeeting Götzis mit 117.622 Punkten vor den US Championships mit 115.360 Punkten. Das Hypomeeting Götzis konnte sich damit sowohl in der Siebenkampf-Wertung mit 51.671 Punkten, wie auch in der Zehnkampf-Wertung mit 65.951 Punkten den hervorragenden 2. Rang vor den US-Trials und den Europameisterschaften Amsterdam sichern und damit einmal mehr den internationalen Stellenwert der Veranstaltung unter Beweis stellen. Mit Beendigung der Mehrkämpfe am vergangenen Wochenende bei der Veranstaltung von Decastar in Talence/FRA – die Siege im letzten Mehrkampf der Saison konnten Nadine Broersen/NED und Oleksiy Kasyanov/UKR für sich verbuchen - liegt nun auch das Endergebnis der IAAF Challenge-Wertung 2016 vor. Auf Basis der jeweils besten 3 Wettkämpfe des Jahres 2016 gewann im Zehnkampf der Götzis-Sieger des Jahres 2015 Kai Kazmirek mit 25.221 Punkten gefolgt von Jeremy Taiwo / USA (24.928) und Adam Sebastian Helcelet / CZE (24.498). Im Siebenkampf konnte sich mit der deutschen Athletin Carolin Schäfer die 3. des diesjährigen Hypomeetings mit 19.573 Punkten den Sieg in der IAAF Challenge Wertung sichern. Auf den weiteren Plätzen folgen Anouk Vetter / NED (19.302) und Barbara Nwaba aus den USA (19.163). Die österreichische Siebenkämpferin Ivona Dadic belegte mit Ihren beim Hypomeeting in Götzis, bei der EM in Amsterdam und bei den Olympischen Spielen in Rio erzielten Resultaten den 8.

    Le Décastar à travers le temps Le Décastar, meeting international d’Épreuves Combinées, accueille chaque année, sur le stade Pierre Paul Bernard de Talence, les meilleurs athlètes mondiaux de la discipline. Créé en 1976, il devient en 1991 le « Décastar, les Dieux du Stade ». En 1998 il est inscrit au challenge mondial des Epreuves Combinées, il en est la dernière étape. C’est après Talence que le classement final est établi, récompensant les 8 meilleurs du Décathlon et de l’Heptathlon. Théâtre d’inoubliables moments 1976 : première édition avec la participation de Guy DRUT, récent Champion Olympique du 110 m haies. Venu relever un défi sur un décathlon, il termine 5ème et établit le record du stade du 110 m haies, jamais égalé à ce jour. Fin des années 80, début des années 90 : 5 victoires de Christian PLAZIAT, n°1 mondial en 1987, 1988, 1989, multiple Champion, Recordman de France et Champion d’Europe à Split en 1990. 1992 : Le record du monde est battu par l’américain Dan O’BRIEN, triple Champion du Monde et Champion Olympique à Atlanta. 1994 : Venue de l’allemande Heike DRESCHLER, spécialiste du saut en longueur, qui réalise la meilleure performance mondiale de l’année. 1996 : 20ème anniversaire du DECASTAR, avec la participation de Jean GALFIONE, Champion Olympique à Atlanta. Il réalise la meilleure performance mondiale au saut à la perche dans un décathlon. 1999 : Eunice BARBER, Championne du Monde à Séoul, remporte le Challenge Mondial IAAF, après une victoire très disputée au DECASTAR. Tomas DVORAK, alors Recordman mondial, remporte la victoire au décathlon.
